We scored a whole house just for ourselves, and it was mind-blowing! The owner was the sweetest and helped us organize an epic day trip to Horton's Plain. Oh, and the food. OMG, one of the best we've had in Sri Lanka! Fresh veggies and fruits straight from their garden. Superb!

I recently stayed at a cozy inn surrounded by beautiful flowers and tranquil surroundings. The cottage had a huge bed, a private bathroom, and a basic kitchenette for making hot tea in the evenings. The hosts were responsive and gave me plenty of privacy. The inn was located within walking distance of a calm lake where local fishermen could be seen. The sound of the nearby stream was really calming. it was a lovely and enjoyable retreat.

The location was a bit remote and lacked nearby food options.
